<i>La Nación</i> y las construcciones identitarias de los emigrantes argentinos

Abstract

En este artículo se analizan las construcciones identitarias de los emigrantes argentinos hacia España e Italia realizadas por el diario La Nación en el período 2001-2005. Desde el análisis de los discursos sociales, se reconocen y se estudian las regularidades que redundan en la elaboración de adscripciones identitarias en dos momentos del proceso migratorio: la partida, signada por el componente prescriptivo y legalista, y el asentamiento en el lugar de destino, donde el medio confirma la aparición de un migrante desencantado con el resultado de ese movimiento.

In this article, the authoress analyzes the construction of the Argentinian emigrants identities towards Spain and Italy made by the newspaper La Nación in 2001-2005. From the perspective of social discourses analysis, the regularities in the construction of identities made by this newspaper are recognized and studied in two moments of the migratory process: the departure, characterized by the prescriptive and legalistic component, and the arrival, where it was confirmed the appearance of a disappointed migrant with the result of that movement.
