Versiones del montaje masoquista

Abstract

El artículo está centrado en una hipótesis de Jacques Lacan [1970] que postula como una de las claves del escenario contemporáneo “la manía sadomasoquista que caracteriza a nuestro […] ambiente sexual”. Las prácticas actuales tales como las del tatuaje, el piercing, el cutting, las dietas, los ayunos anoréxicos, las de autoflagelación monacales, incluyendo también las prácticas SM generalizadas como lo es por ejemplo el bondage y otras, ponen en evidencia esa manía y en particular la economía del masoquismo. Por esta razón, más allá de sus formas extendidas, atañen a efectos de estructura, que no se limitan a los imperativos de la época sino que exteriorizan el estatuto del cuerpo como el lugar del Otro donde se inscriben las marcas de goce.

This article is centered on a hypothesis of Jacques Lacan [1970] which postulates as one of the keys of the contemporary scenario “the sadomasochistic mania that characterizes our […] sexual environment”. The current practices such as tattooing, piercing, cutting, dieting, anorexic fasts, monastic self-fl agellations, including generalized SM practices such as bondage and others, put in evidence this mania and in particular the economy of masochism. For that reason, beyond their extended forms, they concern structural effects, which are not limited to the imperatives of the time but externalize the statute of the body as the place of the Other where the marks of enjoyment are inscribed.
