Proyecto Libros Solidarios

Abstract

El presente trabajo procura describir los objetivos del Proyecto Libros Solidarios perteneciente a la cátedra Lenguaje Visual 3 de la Facultad de Bellas Artes (FBA) de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) a fin de reflexionar sobre el papel del libro álbum como objeto factible de abordaje en los estudios de cultura visual. En tanto constituye un artefacto cultural contemporáneo, el libro álbum se presenta como objeto permeable a una diversidad de relaciones analíticas y de cuerpos teóricos. La ductilidad y la complejidad del libro álbum cuestionan los parámetros tradicionales de lectura: la linealidad, la redundancia explicativa entre texto e imagen. En este contexto, las nuevas tendencias de libro álbum parecieran replicar la lectura multifocal del hipertexto digital en el ámbito de la imagen analógica.

The present work aims to describe the objectives of the Charity Books Project that belongs to subject Visual Language 3 of the Facultad de Bellas Artes (fba) of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (unlp) in order to reflect on the role of the picture book as a feasible object of approach in visual culture studies. As a contemporary cultural artifact, the picture album is presented as an object permeable to a variety of analytical relationships and theoretical corpus of disciplines. The ductility and complexity of the picture album question traditional reading parameters: linearity, explanatory redundancy between text and image. In this context, new picture album tendencies seem to replicate the multifocal reading of digital hypertext in the realm of the analogue image.
