Construcción de una guía de orientación ética para investigadores en psicología de la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata

Abstract

Este artículo refiere a una investigación, llevada a cabo en el marco del Doctorado en Psicología de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), cuya temática es la ética en investigación en psicología. Existe poco desarrollo en cuanto a la regulación de las cuestiones éticas en investigación en psicología, lo cual se encuentra fundamentado en la percepción de que las investigaciones realizadas en este campo (y en ciencias sociales y humanísticas en general) no son riesgosas para los sujetos que participan de ellas. Esto conlleva un menor control en estas investigaciones y una carencia de documentos específicos para evaluarlas. En función de esto, se propone la construcción de una guía de orientación ética para investigadores en psicología. Para conseguir este objetivo se propone una investigación en dos fases: una primera de análisis documental de fuentes primarias y secundarias sobre la temática que es motivo de estudio, y una segunda donde se tomaran entrevistas a investigadores en psicología y expertos en área sobre la que se desarrolla la investigación. Se espera que la guía constituya una herramienta que, sin tener pretensiones de exhaustividad, pueda brindar premisas o postulados que permitan orientar la acción de un modo amplio pero tendiente a la aplicación en situaciones contextualizadas.

This article is about a research, which is being conducted within the psychology doctoral program of the La Plata University (UNLP), and that addresses the topic of ethics in psychological research. There is a small development in the regulations of the ethical aspects of psychological research, due to the fact that research conducted in this field (and in the social and human sciences in general) is considered of low risk for the subjects who participate in it. This results in less control of this investigations and a lack of specific documents for its evaluation. Regarding this situation, is that the construction of a guideline for the ethical conduct of psychology researchers, is proposed. To achieve this objective, a research compound of two phases, will be implemented. In the first phase, a documentary analysis of primary and secondary sources about the mentioned topic will be carried out. In the second phase, interviews to investigators and experts in the area of the research will be conducted. It is expected that the guideline constitutes a tool, which without any claim to exhaustivity, can provide orientation for the investigators in a wide range, but specifically for contextualized situations.
