Subjetividad y lenguaje en niños pequeños: relevancia del instrumento Mac Arthur-Bates en la evaluación del desarrollo de habilidades comunicativas

Abstract

En el presente trabajo nos centraremos en el área del lenguaje, tanto en sus aspectos comprensivos y expresivos como en su importancia en la estructuración subjetiva del infante. Posteriormente, se hará referencia a los Inventarios del Desarrollo de Habilidades Comunicativas Mac Arthur-Bates (2003) y al trabajo de adaptación al castellano de esta región que se realiza actualmente en la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) en un proyecto de investigación. En los tiempos de crianza del niño, el lenguaje y la subjetividad se implican mutuamente, allí se verán reflejados los vínculos, las interacciones sociales y los atravesamientos culturales, siendo el lenguaje un área de significativa trascendencia. El trabajo en primera infancia es fundamental, ya que constituye un tiempo privilegiado para efectuar intervenciones tempranas y oportunas tendientes a evitar y/o prevenir futuras patologías.

In the present work we will focus on the area of language, both in its comprehensive and expressive aspects and the importance of the same in the subjective structuring of the infant. Later, reference will be made to the Mac Arthur- Bates Communicative Skills Development Inventories (2003) and the work of adaptation to Spanish of this region that is currently carried out in the Faculty of Psychology of the UNLP in a research project. In times of child rearing, language and subjectivity are mutually involved, there will be reflected human bonds, social interactions and cultural crossings, language being an area of significant transcendence. Early childhood work is essential because it is a privileged time for early and timely interventions to avoid and / or prevent future pathologies.
