Dispositivos de formación: la práctica clínica en el CPA de La Plata

Abstract

El Centro provincial de Atención de La Plata (CPA) es una institución que depende de la Dirección de Atención de Salud Mental y Adicciones. Dirección que pertenece a la Dirección provincial de Salud Mental y Adicciones y que forma parte de la Subsecretaría de Determinantes Sociales de la Salud y la enfermedad física, mental y de las adicciones dependiente del Ministerio de Salud Gobierno de la provincia de Buenos Aires. El CPA es un centro público y gratuito que brinda cobertura en: información, orientación, atención y derivación en el área legal, social, psicológico y psiquiátrico. Además, cuenta con dispositivos individuales y grupales. Quienes suelen acercarse, lo hacen en forma voluntaria para una consulta o un tratamiento, algunos, derivados de otras instituciones, instituciones de salud, educativas, judiciales, para que sean evaluados y/o para que realicen un tratamiento. El CPA de La Plata tiene un área de formación: se trabaja con las Prácticas Preprofesionales Supervisadas (PPS), prácticas de la cátedra de Clínica de Adultos y Gerontes de la Facultad de Psicología (UNLP). También en este CPA, realizan sus prácticas, los alumnos de la Cátedra de Psicopatología I de la Facultad de Psicología (UNLP) y los Residentes de Psicología y Psiquiatría realizan sus rotaciones curriculares en el marco del Programa Provincial de Residentes.
