In English

In the following article I propose analyzing the project Foto Estudio Ibis, carried out by Gustavo Frittegotto based on the homonymous photo studio that worked in Arequito (Santa Fe) from the 1930s to 2002. In relation to its archive and Frittegotto’s actions I raise questions about the recovery of photographic archives registered in small communities and the artistic character of these actions.

En el siguiente trabajo se propone analizar el proyecto Foto Estudio Ibis, realizado por Gustavo Frittegotto, a partir del estudio de fotografía homónimo que funcionó en Arequito, desde la década de 1930 hasta el año 2002. Con relación a su archivo y a las acciones desarrolladas por Frittegotto, se plantean interrogantes sobre la recuperación de archivos fotográficos inscriptos en pequeñas comunidades y sobre el carácter artístico de estas acciones.
