Historia oficial: postales del centenario

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación procura señalar algunas de las narrativas presentes en la conformación del Estado Nacional Argentino. Para dicho fin, se estudió parte de la colección de postales conmemorativas del Centenario de la Revolución de Mayo, pertenecientes al Archivo del Museo Histórico Nacional. El foco estará puesto en el contexto de producción y de adquisición de estos objetos y el objetivo será delinear la función que cumplieron en la conformación de la representación del imaginario del Estado Nación.

This research project aims to reveal the narratives present at the conformation of the Argentine National State. To that end, the archive at the National Historical Museum was surveyed. From this fund some commemorative postcards were chosen, in the theme of the May Revolution centenary, with emphasis in their historical context in which they were obtained, and place of origin. The objective is to mark off their role in the collective conformation of the representation in the popular belief of the National State.
