Las mujeres víctimas de violencia de género

Abstract

Hace ya varios años la Argentina se encuentra en un fuerte proceso de reivindicación del derecho de las mujeres. Si bien lo que se concebía como violencia doméstica fue un tópico central de la agenda feminista postdictatorial, no fue hasta entrado el nuevo milenio y -sobre todo- a partir del <i>Ni Una Menos</i>, que dicha movilización cristalizará las demandas de años anteriores e instalará, como nunca antes, una agenda pública en perspectiva de género. Es a partir de dicho proceso de sensibilización social que pretendemos indagar la figura social de la víctima de violencia de género para comprender su emergencia y las características fundamentales de su narrativa. Los relatos serán abordados desde el enfoque biográfico mediante entrevistas en profundidad para interceptar en las experiencias sufrientes las regularidades de las verdades subjetivas. Así, veremos cómo frente a los infortunios del pasado, es la palabra de estas mujeres desde el presente que -una vez fuera de la relación violenta- exclama de diversos modos haber ganado humanidad y profundidad existencial. En otras palabras, se toma al dolor en la positividad de la acción para dar cuenta de un proceso de subjetivación en tanto víctima.

Several years ago, Argentina started an intense process of recognition of women’s rights. Even though ‘domestic violence’ had been already a strong topic in the postdictatorial feminism agenda, it was not until the twenty first century and –above allsince the ‘Ni una menos’ movement, that such mobilizations will cristallize past demands and establish, as never before, a gender based public agenda. It is regarding those changes of social awareness that we intend to inquire about the social figure of the woman victim of gender violence, in order to comprehend their emergency and the main characteristics of their narratives. The life-stories will be read from the biographical approach carried out through in-depth interviews to identify whit the suffering experienced the regularities shown in their subjective truths. Thus, we will see how in the face of the misfortunes of the past – and once they are out of the violent relationship- these women´s words express in various ways having won humanity and existential depth. In other words, we approach the pain as the possibility of the action to account for a process of subjectivation as a victim.
