Estudio clínico estadístico de anomalías dentales y patologías estomatológicas en niños de 0 a 16 años que concurren para su atención a la Facultad de Odontología de la UNLP

Abstract

El propósito de este estudio consistió en determinar la frecuencia de presentación de patologías en tejidos blandos y duros, clínicamente observables en la población infantil que asistió para su atención a las clínicas de la Asignatura Odontología Integral Niños de la Facultad de Odontología de la UNLP. Se tomó un grupo representado por los niños que concurrieron durante el período julio-diciembre del año 2017. Los datos obtenidos de las historias clínicas se ingresaron a protocolos confeccionados para este fin. El estudio es de tipo transversal y descriptivo. Del examen clínico dentario y de los tejidos blandos se encontraron anomalías dentarias: 1 de transposición, 5 vestíbulo versiones, 5 agenesias, 4 supernumerarios, 3 mesiodens, 2 manchas melaninogénicas, 1 fusión, 3 hipoplasia incisivo molar, 2 amelogénesis, 3 erupciones adelantadas, en los tejidos blandos: 2 lenguas geográficas, 2 GEH, 1 pseudopapiloma irritativo por succión, 3 manchas melánicas, 2 mucoceles. Llegando a la conclusión de valorar el diagnóstico temprano para el tratamiento y evitar consecuencias físicas y psíquicas futuras.

From the clinical examination of the teeth and soft tissues, dental anomalies were found: 1 transposition, 5 vestibular versions, 5 agenesias, 4 supernumeraries, 3 mesiodens, 2 melanlnogenic spots, 1 fusion, 3 hypoplasia molar incisor, 2 amelogenesis, 3 advanced eruptions, In soft tissues: 2 geographical languages, 2 GEH, 1 Irritative pseudopapllloma by suction, 3 melanlc spots, 2 mucoceles. Arriving at the conclusion of evaluating the diagnosis early for the treatment and avoiding future physical and psychic consequences.
