Indagación de metodologías de impacto ambiental urbano. Profundización de las variables principales

Abstract

El trabajo plantea explorar y desarrollar metodología de Evaluación de Impacto Ambiental (EIA) que pueda ser aplicable en el contexto de centros urbanos de mediana escala (EIAu), con el objetivo de minimizar la brecha actual entre los desarrollos teóricos del tema y la práctica real de la problemática. Se pretende mejorar y proponer instrumentos y herramientas orientadas a la recolección de información y a la sistematización de las variables principales, formulando indicadores e índices que evalúen el EIAu y así identificar los desequilibrios en la relación ambiente Natural y Artificial y sus causas, obteniéndose diagnósticos acertados previos a los procesos de intervención en áreas urbanas características en el marco de “ciudades sanas”.

The exploration and development of an Environmental Impact (EIA) Evaluation methodology is presented that can be applicable in the context of the urban centres of median scale (EIAu) with the objective of minimizing the current breach between the theoretical developments of the topic and the real practice of the problem. Improvement is sought and tools orienteded to the collection of information and to the systematizing of the main variables are proposed, formulating indicators and indexes that value the EIAu and in this way identify the imbalances in the Natural and Artificial ambient relationship and its causes (early identification), obtaining right diagnoses, necessarily previous to the intervention processes in urban areas in the “healthy cities” framework. (WHO, 1991).
