La posición filética de Telmatobiinae, su discusión reciente y significado critico de algunos inmunotests

Abstract

Taxinomic relationship of Telmatobiinae, as it was recently arranged by Lynch (1969), is controlled by means of serological tests. Close relations between <i>Telmatobufo</i> and <i>Telmatobius</i> are pointed out. On the contrary <i>Calyptocephalella</i> lies at a remarkable distance from the true Telmatobiini stock, and its independent tribal position can be easily supported. Taxinomic separation of <i>Odontophrynus</i> from Ceratophrydids is again stressed, but its position in a general Telmatobiid branch must be pointed out.
