Viabilidad económica-financiera de sistemas de cogeneración industrial en Argentina por el mecanismo de desarrollo limpio

Abstract

Se analiza la viabilidad económico-financiera de sistemas de cogeneración con turbogrupo de gas y caldera de recuperación en función de la venta de bonos por reducción de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero, amparados en el régimen del Mecanismo de Desarrollo Limpio. Se analizan otros factores a tomar en cuenta, como ser, constancia de la demanda de calor, tarifas de venta de excedentes de electricidad o de vapor, fallas regulatorias, desconocimiento de las tecnologías de cogeneración por parte del inversor, entre otros. La rentabilidad del proyecto de cogeneración puede ser elevada en instalaciones grandes con turbinas de gas y caldera de recuperación con suficiente economía de escala. Se reseñan resultados discutidos anteriormente y se enuncian conclusiones.

The contribution to the financial and economic feasibility of cogeneration systems with gas turbine and exhaust gas heat recovery boiler is discussed in function of the financial credit for reduction of greenhouse gases emissions by using the Clean Development Mechanism. Other factors to take into account are the constancy of the heat demand, the rates of sale of electricity and steam surpluses, the regulatory laws, the ignorance of the cogeneration technologies on the part of the investor, among others. The profitability of the investment for implementation of a cogeneration system can be elevated in large facilities with gas turbines and heat recovery boiler. Results discussed in previous papers are pointed out and new conclusions are enunciated.
