Abstract

The herpetological features of the volcanic patagonian plateau (1500-1850 m altitude) between Primeros Pinos and Kilka River (Neuquen) are analyzed. The following species are reported : Pleurodema bufonina, Liolaemus elongatus elongatus, L. tenuis tenuis, L. ceii and L. lineomaeulatus. Biogeographical trends of the southern patagonian lizard Liolaemus lineomaeulatus are discussed.
