Atlas and catalogue of variables stars in globular clusters of south of -29ᵒ

Abstract

The two principal aims of this work are to publish 30 x 40 cm. enlargements of 47 globular clusters south of -29ᵒ made from plates taken with the telescope at Bosque Alegre on Ilford HP, 2 plates by Mr. Martín Dartayet and on 103a-Kodak plates with a GG 14 filter by the authors, and to identify on these photographs the variables belonging to the cluster or that are in its neighborhood as in the case of NGC 6522. The stars suspected of being variables that the authors have found near and in the clusters, will also be listed.
