Abstract

Este artículo presenta reflexiones sobre el origen de la pena privativa de libertad en el modo de producción capitalista y sus permanencias y modificaciones a la luz del proyecto neoliberal y la hegemonía conservadora en el campo penal en Brasil y Argentina. Finaliza con un debate sobre el Proyecto Éticopolítico del trabajo social y los desafíos frente a la violación de Derechos Humanos.

This article presents reflections on the origin of the deprivation of liberty in the capitalist mode of production and its permanence and modifications in the light of the neoliberal project and the conversational hegemony in the criminal field in Argentina and Brazil. It ends with a debate on social work and the challenges faced with the violation of Human Rights.
