Fotometría superficial de galaxias a dos colores

Abstract

For a given number of galaxies the behaviour of the form parameter qₙ in the photometric systems P and V it is described. It is found, in general, that: qₙ(V) < qₙ(P), what implies n(V ) > n (P) , i.e., the brightness distribution law in the visual (V) is associated with an earlier qₙ (consequently with an n) than the one in the photographic range.
