Objetos en mares de relaciones: experiencias de enseñanza de la Historia Atlántica en museos

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es presentar y analizar experiencias de enseñanza en espacios de museos, que se propusieron traducir los preceptos y conceptos de la Historia Atlántica a partir de la creación de nuevas estrategias para el enfoque y la interpretación de colecciones. Para ello, se abordarán los procesos de planificación, curaduría y montaje de dos exposiciones que tuvieron lugar en museos y galerías de la ciudad de Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais, Brasil), en las cuales se buscaba hacer visibles las redes y conexiones que integraron los espacios atlánticos, en la primera modernidad, y dar nueva proyección a las experiencias humanas forjadas en los tránsitos entre geografías y en el encuentro de culturas.

The objective of this article is to present and analyze teaching experiences in museum spaces, which set out to translate the precepts and concepts of Atlantic History from the creation of new strategies for the approach and interpretation of collections. For this will be addressed the planning, curating and assembly processes of two exhibitions that took place in museums and galleries in the city of Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais, Brazil), in which they sought to make visible the networks and connections that integrated the Atlanticspaces, in the first modernity, and give new projection to the human experiences forged in the transits between geographies and in the meeting of cultures.
