Uso diferencial del espacio: interpretaciones funcionales a partir del análisis cerámico de dos estructuras incaicas

Abstract

Para la zona del Valle de Hualfín, Catamarca, se sabe que el Inca llego aproximadamente a principios del siglo XV d.C. El presente trabajo contribuye al conocimiento de la política incaica implementada en el sector Norte del Valle de Hualfín, a través del estudio del sitio denominado Hualfín Inka, el cual presenta una arquitectura de filiación incaica. Se analizó el material cerámico de dos estructuras que conforman dicho sitio. La metodología empleada se baso en el análisis morfológico y estilístico de los fragmentos cerámicos recuperados. Los resultados obtenidos permitieron ahondar sobre la funcionalidad de los recintos y profundizar la relación local-estatal para esta región.

For the area of the Valley of Hualfín, Catamarca, it is know that the Inca came in the 15th Century a.D. This work contributes to the knowledge of the Inca policy implemented in the North of the Hualfín´s Valley, through the study of the archaeological site Hualfín Inka, which present typical Inca´s architecture. It’s analyzed the ceramic material of two structures of the site. The methodology used was based on the morphological and stylistic analysis of the ceramic fragments recovered. The results obtained will allow us to interpret about the functionality of the excavated structures and the local-state relation for this region.
