Abstract

En la siguiente entrevista se realiza un recorrido por la vida de Fernando García Curten, quien expone el desarrollo de su proceso creativo, sus afectaciones a partir del hecho artístico y la relación que mantuvo con sus referentes. García Curten trabaja sus dibujos y sus esculturas con la intensidad característica que atraviesa el arte argentino. Su obra es contemporánea al movimiento de la Nueva Figuración, y encuentra gran apoyo e influencia en Luis Felipe Noé. El artista nos relata su historia desde su Casa Museo, en San Pedro.

The following interview takes a tour of the life of Fernando García Curten, who exposes the development of his creative process, his affective bond with regard to artistic fact, and the relationship with his references. García Curten works his drawings and sculptures with the characteristic intensity that passes through Argentine art. His work is contemporary of the New Figuration, and finds great support and influence in Luis Felipe Noé. The artist relates his story from his Casa Museo in San Pedro, where he currently lives.
