Desde la unidad troyana hacia la interpretación de la diferencia en Roma

Abstract

Troya se conforma como un absoluto. Absorber en la unidad los atributos divinos es la meta del rey. Roma, en cambio, es el llamado para encontrar la unidad en la diferenciación. Al encontrarse con otros pueblos, el hombre ahonda su inscripción en lo humano. Interpretar y traducir implicará entonces reconocer al otro. La diferencia que aparta se va transfigurando en la interpretación que aproxima y vincula.

Troy is formed as an absolute. The objective of the King is to absorb divine attributes in order to achieve their total unity. Rome, on the other hand, is called to find their unity in a differentiation. When a man metes other peoples, he goes deep into the human. To interpret and translate them implicates the recognizing of the other. The difference which divides, disappears, changing itself by the interpretation, and approaches and links.
