Abstract

Analysis of orientations of the bivalve Anota i a cf. solitaria Wilckens attached on one specimen of Eubaculites ootacodensis (Stoliczka) indicates as most probable that the epizoans settled after the ammonoid was dead and behaving as nekroplankton.
