Concientización del cuidado de la ATM mediante actividades lúdicas

Abstract

Introducción: El proyecto de extensión universitario “¿Escuchamos a nuestros hijos rechinar los dientes?”, emplea recursos lúdicos con el propósito de con tribuir a la construcción de conocimientos en relación con el cuidado del sistema estomatognático. El foco de interés se centra en la articulación temporomandibular (ATM) y su vinculación con el hábito del bruxismo. El bruxismo es una hiperactividad involuntaria de músculos masticadores y de la mandíbula, en las primeras etapas de la vida es una condición fisiológica, su persistencia en el tiempo podría generar consecuencias indeseables. Objetivo: Desarrollar actividades lúdicas como estrategia de educación para la salud y prevención del sistema estomatognático en relación con el bruxismo en las comunidades educativas pertenecientes a los Jardines de Infantes N°901, 904 y 905 de Berisso

Objective: To develop recreational activities as a strategy for health education and prevention of the stomatognathic system in relation to bruxism in the educational communities belonging to the Jardines de Infantes N ° 901, 904 and 905 de Berisso.
