Amelogénesis imperfecta: Resolución estética

Abstract

Introducción: La amelogénesis imperfecta se define como un grupo de trastornos heterogéneos tanto clínica como genéticamente de naturaleza hereditaria que se caracteriza por alteraciones en la estructura y en aspecto clínico al esmalte desde su formación pudiendo afectar a ambas denticiones. Clínicamente las piezas dentarias afectadas presentan rugosidades y fosas o surcos verticales e irregulares de color ámbar en el esmalte.

Introduction: Amelogenesis imperfecta is defined as a group of heterogeneous disorders both clinically and genetically of hereditary nature that is characterized by alterations in the structure and in the clinical aspect of the enamel from its formation, being able to affect both dentitions. Clinically, the affected teeth present rugosities and vertical and irregular amber grooves or grooves in the enamel.
