La Medea de Séneca se constituye en su propio destino sin dioses. Cuando el hombre se arroga el poder supremo, cuando subvierte el orden, la armonía, cuando ejerce la maldad extrema y ejecuta al inocente, niega a la divinidad. Entonces, el hombre es dios y exige la gloria debida a los dioses.

Seneca's Medea is in her own destiny without gods. When a man arrogates to himself the supreme power, when he subverts the order and harmony, when he is exercising the extreme evil and executes the innocent, he denies the divinity. So a man becomes a God and demands the glory which is due to the gods.
