Abstract

A la probabilidad que se produzca un daño en un individuo o grupo poblacional en un área geográfica determinada se considera Riesgo. El odontólogo está expuesto a los siguientes tipos de riesgo: infecciones, quemaduras, intoxicaciones, traumatismos, explosiones, irradiaciones, etc. Si bien cualquier actividad lleva implícita un riesgo, su conocimiento anticipado puede prevenirlo o controlarlo. Objetivos: Crear conciencia de los riesgos que nos rodean y ponen en peligro nuestra salud. Generar a partir de la toma de conciencia un efecto multiplicador. Identificar los riesgos a los que está expuesto el odontólogo. Prevenir las consecuencias.
