La creciente aceptación de los Activos digitales y generalización en su uso, se hace necesario establecer criterios contables. Sin embargo, debido a los distintos usos que se les puede dar y a su vez los pocos años que pasaron de su creación, no hay una normativa clara con respecto a su tratamiento contable, por lo que tenemos que recurrir a las consultas a los diferentes organismos profesionales o regulatorios.
