Este trabajo se propone explorar y analizar la actividad de las psicólogas en el primer nivel de atención (PNA) en el partido de La Plata. En la provincia de Buenos Aires el dispositivo central del PNA es el centro de atención primaria de la salud (CAPS). Estos centros son de gestión municipal y La Plata cuenta con 45 CAPS donde trabajan 33 psicólogas.
El objetivo es relevar y estudiar los discursos de estas psicólogas sobre su propia práctica para entender el sentido de la misma. Luego se analizarán dichas prácticas teniendo en cuenta los marcos legales y teóricos que envuelven dicho trabajo.
Para ello se registran, abordan y analizan los datos relevados en un estudio a través del uso de entrevistas semidirigidas y la administración de un instrumento que indaga situaciones-problema de intervención. Se trata de un estudio no experimental transeccional descriptivo.

The purpose of this paper is to explore and analyze the activity of psychologists in the first level of care in the city of La Plata. In the province of Buenos Aires the CAPS (Spanish initials for “primary health care center”) are the main device of the first level of care. These centers are of municipal management and there are 45 of them in La Plata, where 33 psychologists work.
The aim is to analyze and study these psychologists‘ speech on their own practices. This speech will be compared with the theoretical and legal framework on this matter.
In order to meet this objective, there were made interviews and an instrument for inquiring intervention in problem-situations was employed. The activity as a unit of analysis is used in this paper to approach the empirical material.
