El presente trabajo está enmarcado en el proyecto de investigación “Evaluación de una estrategia de retención y permanencia en el sistema universitario: Programa Volver a mirar de Reorientación Vocacional”, dirigido por la Psicóloga Cristina Quiles, durante el periodo 2018-2019.
El objetivo de la investigación mencionada es evaluar el impacto de una de las estrategias utilizadas por la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) para la retención y permanencia de los alumnos y alumnas dentro del sistema universitario, que lleva adelante la Facultad de Psicología a través de su Secretaría de Extensión, y más precisamente del Centro de Orientación Vocacional Ocupacional (COVO).
Este proyecto es el resultado de la transferencia de investigaciones anteriores: “Abandono universitario, estrategias de inclusión”, implementado durante el periodo 2010-2013 y “Evaluación de estrategias de inclusión para disminuir el abandono universitario en otros ámbitos educativo-formativos”, efectuado entre el año 2014 y 2017. Ambos proyectos dirigidos por la Dra. Mirta Gavilán.
El programa “Volver a mirar”, del que presentaremos algunos resultados, está destinado a alumnos de la UNLP que necesitan revisar sus elecciones de carrera y sus proyectos para la vida. El objetivo de este póster, por lo tanto, será visibilizar algunos de los resultados que la evaluación de dicho programa ha permitido mostrar, en su alcance y efectividad. Esta labor permite avanzar sobre los efectos directos y el impacto que otorga a las trayectorias estudiantiles.

The following writing is in line with the investigation project: “Evaluation of a strategy of retention and permanence in the university system: The program Looking back by Vocational reorientation”, directed by psychologist Cristina Quiles, during the years 2018-2019.
The target of this investigation is to evaluate the impact of one of the strategies used by the National University of La Plata (UNLP) for the retention and permanence of the students in the educational system that the School of Psychology, conducts through its Extension Secretary, more precisely the Occupational Vocational Guidance Center (COVO).
This project is the result of previous investigations transfers: “University abandonment, inclusion strategies” implemented during the period 2010-2013 and “Evaluation of strategies of inclusion in order to diminish the university abandonment in another educative-formative places”, executed between the years 2014 and 2017. Both projects directed by Dr. Mirta Gavilán.
The program “Looking back”, which we will show some results, is destined to UNLP’s students who needed to revise their career choices and projects for the life. The objective of this poster is to make visible some of the results that the evaluation of this project let us show, regarding to scope and effectiveness. This work let us move on the direct effects and the impact given to student’s careers.
