In order to identify the water flow conditions in the unsaturated zone (UZ) a test was carried out applying in the land surface potassium bromide (BrK) as a tracer. The aquifer recharge calculated was assumed as occurring in the matrix flow domain (q0) and it was used for the comparative analysis of the solute transport. According to the type of sampling, porous capsules and soil, they were distinguished different velocities of tracer peaks. The matrix dispersive unsaturated flow was simulated with the program VS2DT (Waterloo Hydrogeologic, 1999). A system of both dispersive flow (qsm) and a dominion by macroporosity (qsp) was observed. The center of mass in the qsm was considered like moving at a velocity similar to the front of advance in a piston flow domain (q0). In average terms for all the profile qsp =1.7 q5m. The use of q0 to evaluate the migration of solute in the UZ will lead to an underestimation of the true anthropogenic impacts because the degradation of the groundwater will happen before the predicted time.
