Evaluation as a key step of the teaching-learning process in Physiology

Abstract

We generate a new approach to Physiology teaching, initially modifying the curricular aspects, but understanding that a curricular innovation will only be effective if it is accompanied by innovations in the evaluation. The traditional summative evaluation was changed by several evaluation methodologies, in order to improve the teaching-learning processes. We incorporate: (a) weekly evaluations; (b) oral exposition of group workshop; (c) mock test; (d) individual exam.
