Modos vinculares en el uso de aplicaciones tecnológicas

Abstract

Fue el contexto de pandemia por COVID-19, que motivó el desarrollo de una primera encuesta, con el fin de echar luz sobre los modos en que las familias se apropian de las TIC y qué sentidos le otorgan en este tiempo. Las TIC e Internet son un artefacto cultural compuesto por estructuras objetivas, códigos técnicos y significaciones para los sujetos que se vinculan con estas herramientas (Bravetti, 2020), de allí que lo concomitante al uso de los dispositivos es una dinámica intra e intersubjetiva, y en un entorno afectado por la pandemia será la singular apropiación que cada familia hace de ello lo que determinará los vínculos endogámicos y exogámicos de sus miembros. Detectamos en la encuesta que los y las adolescentes tienen mejores recursos que sus padres para transitar esta nueva realidad, ellos reproducen comportamientos de épocas anteriores: comparten la misma película en Netflix pero cada uno en su casa, o se unen al mundo de las redes desde sus celulares vía Instagram a pesar de estar en la misma habitación (Horenstein, 2020). Es cierto, que desde la lógica donde “enfermar es un riesgo”, las familias se quedan adentro ligadas a lo tecnológico, y el tiempo de uso, los modos, los contenidos, etc. se pone sobre el banquillo en el espacio familiar configurado por las relaciones jerárquicas, de autoridad, de poder y de intercambio. Concluimos que el uso de la tecnología a veces funciona como un límite a la vincularidad de quienes conviven: búsqueda de un afuera; otras veces, más que límites se trazan fronteras, una suerte de zona que reorganiza a cada cual en su propio mundo y cuyas conexiones con los otros de la familia se suceden de manera aleatoria (Hupert & Ingrassia, 2015); y otras ese uso de las TIC se torna una posibilidad de crear y compartir con otros conectados en el mundo.

It was the context of the COVID-19 pandemic that motivated the development of a first survey, in order to shed light on the ways in which families appropriate ICT and what meanings they give it in this time. ICT and the Internet are a cultural artifact composed of objective structures, technical codes and meanings for the subjects that are linked to these tools (Bravetti, 2020), hence the concomitantity to the use of the devices is an intra and intersubjective dynamic, and in an environment affected by the pandemic it will be the singular appropriation that each family makes of it that will determine the inbred and exogamous bonds of its members. We detected in the survey that teenagers have better resources than their parents to navigate this new reality, they reproduce behaviors from previous eras: they share the same movie on Netflix but each one at home, or they join the world of networks from their cell phones via Instagram despite being in the same room (Horenstein, 2020). It is true that from the logic where "getting sick is a risk", families remain inside linked to the technological, and the time of use, modes, contents, etc. is put on the bench in the family space configured by hierarchical relationships, authority, power and exchange. We conclude that the use of technology sometimes functions as a limit to the bonding of those who live together: search for an outsider; other times, more than boundaries, borders are drawn, a kind of zone that reorganizes each one in its own world and whose connections with the others of the family follow each other randomly (Hupert & Ingrassia, 2015); and others that use of ICT becomes a possibility to create and share with others connected in the world.
