Abstract
El paso por la formación y la docencia del diseño me llevó a una serie de reflexiones en torno a los contenidos de la carrera y al modo en que se vinculan entre sí. En estas páginas trataré de argumentar sobre las diferencias que encuentro entre una formación centrada en lo tecnológico y otra en lo artístico, y qué podemos hacer para asumir la razón de ser de una disciplina como el diseño en la Facultad de Artes.
The journey as a student and as a teacher of Design led me to a series of thoughts about the career contents and the way in which they are linked to each other. In these pages I will try to argue about the differences that I find between an education based on technology and another, on art, and what can we do to assume the raison d’être of a discipline like design at Facultad de Artes.
