Michel Chion en la Facultad de Bellas Artes: una mirada desde el presente

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo discutir los contenidos acerca de guión audiovisual que presentó Michel Chion en el seminario sobre Guión y Audiovisión, que dio en la ciudad de La Plata, auspiciado por la Facultad de Bellas Artes y la Subsecretaría de Cultura y Educación de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, en abril de 1999. Nos permitimos debatir tanto su metodología como sus contenidos conceptuales que, creemos, no pueden ser considerados a nivel de un seminario, sino, más bien, como el de un conversatorio sobre diversas películas que permitieron que el distinguido visitante se explayara, sin desarrollar propuesta de categorización respecto de aspectos que atañen a la construcción narrativa audiovisual.

In 1999, the renowned author of numerous texts that address sound and its relationship with cinema, Michel Chion, was summoned by the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Subsecretariat of Culture and Education of the Province of Buenos Aires, to develop a Five-day seminar on Script and Audiovision. The objective of this work is to review some of the contents raised in the seminar, in the light of giving an account of the result of more than twenty years of teaching Script within the academic framework, which involves developing a scaffolding that fundamentally inserts modes into conceptual categories approach to audiovisual narrative, which seldom acquire rigor and are not framed in theoretical-reflective postulations.
