Xul Solar y la imagen etnográfica desde una abordaje decolonial

Abstract

La ponencia tiene como objeto exponer la migración de las imágenes y el despliegue de la matriz visual eurocéntrica presente en algunas compilaciones que Xul Solar trajo consigo al regresar a la Argentina. Se propone marcar el interés y la directriz común, como señala Barriendos (2011), mediante los proyectos artísticos modernos y las derivas propias del artista en sus imágenes-archivo, y en las operaciones de montaje (concepto central tanto en la reproducción de la matriz visual europea como en su potencial disruptivo interepistémico).

The purpose of the paper is to expose the migration of images and the deployment of the Eurocentric visual matrix present in some compilations that Xul Solar brought with him when he returned to Argentina. It is proposed to mark the interest and the common guideline, as Barriendos (2011) points out, through modern artistic projects and the artist's own drifts in his archive-images, and in the montage operations (central concept both in the reproduction of the matrix European visual as in its interepistemic disruptive potential).
