Tratamiento de la mordida invertida con Bimler C

Abstract

Introducción: La clase III (en pacientes adultos) o mesioclusión (en pacientes con dentición temporaria y mixta) se caracteriza por la relación mesial del maxilar inferior con respecto al maxilar superior, tomando como referencia el primer molar inferior. Caso clínico: Se describe a un paciente infantil con mordida invertida, tratado con una aparatología dinámico funcional (Bimler C), pudiendo observar con los meses el avance de la evolución del tratamiento con la obtención de la relación incisiva correcta y la expansión en sentido transversal del maxilar superior.

Introduction: Class III (in adult patients) or mesioclusion (in patients with temporary and mixed dentition) is characterized by the mesial relationship of the lower jaw with respect to the upper jaw, taking as a reference the first lower molar. In the following clinical case, a child patient with an inverted bite is described, treated with a dynamical appliance (Bimler C), being able to observe with the months the progress of the evolution of the treatment with the obtaining of the correct incisive relationship and the expansion in the transversal direction of the upper jaw.
