Protección de la fauna silvestre y sus especies en peligro de extinción: el caso del venado de las pampas

Abstract

El venado de las pampas es uno de los mamíferos autóctonos más emblemáticos de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. A fines del siglo XIX se lo contaba por millares en ese territorio. También en San Luis y la provincia de La Pampa. Este ser vivo está en peligro de extinción porque existieron factores que atentaron contra la especie. En este trabajo analizo la evolución del Venado en particular, y las herramientas legales con las que contamos en la actualidad para proteger la fauna silvestre que está en extinción en la Provincia de Buenos Aires.

The pampas deer is one of the most emblematic native mammals of the Province of Buenos Aires. At the end of the 19th century there were thousands of them in that territory. Also in San Luis and the province of La Pampa. This living being is in danger of extinction because there were factors that threatened the species. In this work I analyze the evolution of the Deer in particular, and the legal tools we currently have to protect the wildlife that is in extinction in the Province of Buenos Aires.
