Abstract

El texto presenta una mirada posible de la pintura de Cándido López a partir de la muestra del Museo Histórico Nacional: Cándido López, entre la pintura y la historia. Aborda el análisis de un conjunto de obras inspiradas en la guerra de la Triple Alianza, vinculando las circunstancias en las que fueron ejecutadas y el lugar del artista en la escena artística de su época.

The text presents a look as possible, painting of Cándido López from the exhibition of the Museo Histórico Nacional: Cándido López, entre la pintura y la historia. It focuses on the analysis of a set of works inspired by the war of the Triple Alliance, linking the circumstances in which they were executed, the place of the artist in the art scene of his time and the impact that their way of painting produced in the Viewer.
