Abstract

En este ensayo reflexionaremos en torno a las experiencias de comunicación y educación que llevamos adelante desde el Laboratorio de Comunicación y Género de la Facultad de Periodismo y Comunicación Social de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Los procesos formativos que se promueven desde diferentes proyectos y espacios se conciben a partir de la premisa de comprender, en primer lugar, la necesidad de la apropiación del espacio educativo a partir de la promoción de instancias de interaprendizaje, y por otro, por medio del reconocimiento de la perspectiva crítica de género, que habilita y propicia escenarios de reflexión en torno a la subordinación del universo de lo femenino y la legitimación de la masculinidad hegemónica a partir de subvertir prejuicios, estereotipos e, inclusive, estigmas sociales que aún hoy condicionan y reproducen la exclusión social.

In this essay we will take into consideration the experiences of communication and education we carried out at the Communication and Gender Laboratory of the Journalism and Social Communication School of the National University of La Plata. The formative processes that are encouraged in different projects and spaces are conceived from the premise to understand; firstly, the necessity of the appropriation of the educational spaces from the promotion of the interlearning instances. And also, by recognizing the critical perspective of gender, that enables and propitiates the settings for thinking about the subordination of the feminine universe; and the legitimation of the hegemonic masculinity from subverting prejudices, stereotypes and even social stigma that restrict and generate social exclusion until today.
