El Archivo Garma, o la riqueza de su figura

Abstract

El Archivo del Dr. Ángel Garma, reconocido por su trayectoria como psicoanalista y fundador de la Asociación Psicoanalítica Argentina (APA), se constituyó en la conjunción de esfuerzos en común entre, por un lado, la Facultad de Psicología de la UNR, y por el otro, Investigaciones Socio-Históricas Regionales (ISHIR-CONICET/UNR), en un trabajo colaborativo y horizontal que se sintetizó en la constitución del Centro de Estudios Históricos del Psicoanálisis en Argentina (CEHPA), para dar cuenta de los nuevos desafíos institucionales y de investigación abiertos por el material.

The Archives of Dr. Ángel Garma –who was extensively recognized as a psycho-analyst and the main founder of the Argentine Psycho-analytical Association (APA)-, was formed by the joint efforts from, on the one hand, the Faculty of Psychology (UNR) and, on the other hand, from Regional Socio-historical Researches (ISHIR–CONICET/UNR). This represented a collaborative and horizontal work synthesized in the constitution of the Centre of Studies for the History of Psychoanalysis in Argentine of the National University of Rosario (CEHPA-UNR), in order to give into account of the main research and institutional challenges opened by the significance of this material.
