Salvador Dalí: el lugar del lazo social en la producción artística

Abstract

El objetivo principal del proyecto en el que este trabajo se inscribe es el de arrojar luz sobre las modalidades de inserción social de los sujetos de estructura psicótica. Asimismo, es un ensayo que promueve que las herramientas de conocimiento que podamos concluir puedan ser de utilidad para la creación e implementación de estrategias y dispositivos de tratamiento para la psicosis que privilegien la inclusión social. Es de nuestro interés investigar la biografía y la obra de Salvador Dalí, como personaje y figura reconocida del arte, quien ha atravesado períodos de franca fenomenología psicótica. En primer lugar, ubicaremos las discontinuidades en su historia, y los modos en que el pintor ha respondido a aquello que, desde la teoría lacaniana de la psicosis, se denomina el retorno en lo real. Este aspecto se basa principalmente en la consideración de Dalí, desde un punto de vista psicopatológico, como un sujeto que no ha tenido descompensasiones severas, ni retraimientos del lazo social, evidenciando un considerable éxito en la respuesta subjetiva. De esta manera, el objetivo fundamental de esta investigación es poder establecer cuáles han sido las respuestas subjetivas y sintomáticas que le han permitido no sólo conservar sus lazos libidinales, sino también establecer un lazo con el Otro, a través del objeto artístico.

The following paper is a part of a PPID Investigation of the Facultad de Psicología, UNLP, called “Psychosis in the social bond”. The object of this research is to shed light on the modalities of social insertion for the persons with psychotich structure. Likewise, it is an attempt that promotes that the knowledge tools that we can construct became usefull for the creation and implementation of strategies and devices that treat psychosis, giving privilege to social inclusion. Our interest is to investigate the biography and work of Salvador Dali, as a character and recognised figure in the history of art, who has suffer periods of open psychotic phenomena. In the first place, we will locate the discontinuities in his story of life, and the ways that the artist used to respond to that that in Lacan's psychoanalytical theory of psychosis we call “return” in the order of the real. This is based on a consideration of Dali from a psychopathological point of view, as a person who has not had psychotic attacks, nor retreat of the social bond, showing a substantial success in his responses. In this way, the fundamental object of this investigation is to be able to establish which were the subjective and symptomatic responses, that allowed Dali not only to retain his libidinal bonds, but also to establish a bond with the Other, trough the artistic work. Initially, we will inquire about the “starting conditions”, namely, his place in family's desire, and especially in the paternal filiation line, a crucial theme tied to his name and his signature, that we associate with the condition of choice of his love object.
