La influencia de la clase social en el acceso a las técnicas de reproducción humana asistida en parejas del mismo sexo

Abstract

El presente trabajo se encuentra enmarcado dentro del Proyecto de Investigación “Acceso a la parentalidad en parejas del mismo sexo y su incidencia con el contexto social y familiar” dirigido por la licenciada Iara Vidal. Perteneciente a la cátedra de Psicología Institucional, de la Facultad de Psicología, Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Desde el mismo se intentará dilucidar cuál es la influencia de la clase social de pertenencia en el acceso a las Técnicas de Reproducción Humana Asistida (TRA) en parejas de mujeres. Esto será llevado a cabo teniendo en cuenta los aportes de diferentes autores/as, así como también entrevistas y trabajos anteriores realizados por los miembros del proyecto de investigación del cual formamos parte. En un contexto de desigualdad, las mujeres que pueden acceder a las TRA pertenecen a la clase media y alta, poseen un determinado capital económico, social y cultural, que les permiten llevar a cabo estas prácticas contando con mayores opciones. Por otra parte el Estado no genera las Políticas Públicas necesarias para garantizar la accesibilidad de la comunidad en su totalidad y no solo de ciertos sectores sociales. Más allá de que estén las bases legales, se juegan intereses que obstaculizan la realización efectiva de ese proyecto de maternidad. Es así que las mujeres de sectores populares se ven obligadas a optar por vías alternativas que no se encuentran amparadas por la Ley, lo que provoca diferentes problemas de filiación.

This work is framed within the Research Project ‘Access to parenting in same-sex couples and its impact on the social and family context’ led by the graduate Iara Vidal. Belonging to the Chair of Institutional Psychology, Faculty of Psychology, National University of La Plata. From the same one we try to elucidate what is the influence of the social class of belonging in the access to the TRHA. This will be carried out taking into account the contributions of different authors, as well as interviews and previous work carried out by the members of the research project of which we are a part. In different interviews carried out by members of the aforementioned research project, it is highlighted that the economic possibilities mean a determinant to be able to access the Techniques of Human Assisted Reproduction (HRT), both because of its high cost and because many times this cost is high. even more because of the successive attempts. On the other hand, in a previous work (Batiz, F. & Pántano, M., 2017), we mentioned the different shortcomings that we observed in the access to Assisted Reproduction Techniques by couples of women, which hindered above all, access to the sectors popular, since the distribution of information is unequal and on the other hand, there is a lack of public policies to carry forward what is supported by the National Law N° 26.862 of ‘Comprehensive access to medical-assistance procedures and techniques of medically assisted reproduction’, sanctioned in the year 2013.
