This article is part of the research entitled "Phenomenal-structural variants of obsessive neurosis: differential clinical madness, child and female" directed by Dr. Gastón Piazze and Ms. Nora Carbone at the School of Psychology, National University of La Plata. According to its general objectives, this research addresses the problem of the specification of the various forms that obsessive neurosis can take, in order to establish a differential clinic that provides a contribution for the direction of the cure from the Lacanian-oriented psychoanalysis.
On this occasion, we will circumscribe the study to the characterization of the mad form of obsessive neurosis in its structural distinction with psychosis. In this sense - and using the method of exegesis of texts - the positions of Maurice Bouvet (1953) and Jacques Lacan (1958) on this subject will be contrasted, as can be seen from the reading of Seminar V.
